CHANGES IN CATERING AT KBT – DECEMBER 2012

Once the current show,”ROSE RED”, comes to an end on December 10,2011, the catering arrangements at KBT will change. The current caterers will depart and between then and March 06, 2012 interim arrangements will be in place. In March 2012, chef Hannah McMahon will take over the KBT catering and there will be a return to set menus.

INTERIM ARRANGEMENTS – DECEMBER 2011 TO MARCH 2012:

Starting on December 15, 2011 and continuing until March 04, 2o12, picnic baskets will be available to those who wish to eat before the show and there will be a full bar service.   You can book a picnic basket meal when booking tickets but they must be booked at least by 16h30 [4.30 p.m.] on the day before the performance you are booking for .

Picnic baskets are priced at R150 each and comprise -

Sandi’s Theatre Gourmet picnic basket :

Freshly baked mini loaf/ baguette,  Brinjal pate, Humus pate,  Marinated Mediterranean mix, Bombay potato salad lightly curried with turmeric and coriander, 

Trio of cold meats,  Trio of cheese served with savoury biscuits and preserve,  Slice of lemon loaf topped with cream cheese, & a Chocolate

Sandi’s Theatre Gourmet picnic basket (vegetarian option) :

Freshly baked mini loaf/ baguette,  Brinjal pate, Humus pate,  Marinated Mediterranean mix, Bombay potato salad lightly curried with turmeric and coriander, 

Dolmades stuffed with feta cheese,  Trio of cheese served with savoury biscuits and preserve,  Slice of lemon loaf topped with cream cheese & a Chocolate

NEW CATERING ARRANGEMENTS – MARCH 2012 :

From March 06, 2012 KBT will revert to offering full meals to patrons under the creative hands of chef Hannah McMahon and her staff.   Set priced menus with some choices on the menu will be the order of the day.   Full details of menus and booking arrangements will be made available closer to commencement time.
